Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about generating and using stylish Unicode text with StyleFontGenerator.
Common questions
What is StyleFontGenerator?
It’s a free online tool that converts normal text into stylish Unicode text — bold, cursive, gothic, bubble, aesthetic and dozens of other styles — that you can copy and paste into Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp and most other apps.
Is it really free to use?
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up, no account and no watermark on the copied text.
How does the font conversion actually work?
Each style maps your letters onto a different set of Unicode characters that already look bold, cursive, circled and so on. Because they’re real Unicode characters (not images or custom fonts), they paste as plain text and keep their look almost anywhere.
Will these fonts work on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok?
Yes. All three platforms accept Unicode characters in bios, captions, comments and display names, so the styled text will show up as generated.
Do I need to install any fonts or apps?
No. Everything happens instantly in your browser — there’s nothing to download or install.
Is my text stored or sent anywhere?
No. All conversion happens locally in your browser using JavaScript; nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
Why do some styles show boxes or missing characters?
A small number of very old devices or fonts don’t include every rare Unicode character. The common styles (Bold, Italic, Script, Small Caps) have the widest support and rarely have this issue.
Can I use these fonts in a website or document?
Yes, you can paste them anywhere that accepts plain text, though search engines may not read stylized Unicode text the same way as normal letters, so it’s best avoided in page titles meant for SEO.
Does the site work on mobile phones?
Yes, the generator is fully responsive and works on iPhone, Android and tablet browsers.
What’s the difference between the homepage and the dedicated style pages?
The homepage shows every style across all categories. Pages like Bold Text Generator or Cursive Font Generator highlight one category first for a faster, more focused experience, while still including the full style set further down the page.
I found a bug or a style that doesn’t work — how do I report it?
Reach out through the site’s contact information, if listed, or simply try refreshing the page — most display issues are caused by a device’s font support rather than the tool itself.
